Echoes of the White City
In Serbian, Belgrad is called the “White City”. Over the past hundred years, the Balkan Peninsula has undergone tremendous changes, and Yugoslavia has also vanished in the long course of history due to various factors and problems. With a strong sense of curiosity and the desire to explore, I came to Belgrade for investigation and photography. I attempted to break away from the perspective of an onlooker and participate in the construction of the city’s memory, trying to find the memories that once existed on this land. And explore the possible forms of interconnection between cities and individuals, as well as between past cognition and current experience.
In this book, I have created three invisible chapters. 1. War; 2. City 3. Peace. Based on the photos taken during my stay in Belgrade and the old photos and materials I collected, I have arranged a vague and open narrative story.

塞尔维亚语中，贝尔格拉德被称为‘白城’。在过去一百年里，巴尔干半岛发生了巨大的变化，南斯拉夫也因为各种因素和问题在历史的长河中消失。我带着强烈的好奇心和探索欲，来到贝尔格莱德进行考察和拍摄，我尝试摆脱旁观者的视角，参与到城市记忆的构建中，试图寻找这片土地上存在过的记忆。并探索城市和个体之间、过往认知和当下体验之间的相互关联的可能形式。
本书我创造了三个隐形的章节，1.战争；2.城市；3.和平。通过在贝尔格莱德期间所拍摄的照片和收集来的老照片、资料等，我编排出一条模糊而开放的叙事性故事。
